we have an interesting project…. maybe? hmmm… i wish i had a budget to get someone to just work out a design for the site here with us, yeah? and get us a little momentum even here within the tumblr community of followers…
while we ourselves likely have the smarts to do it, I doubt any of us have the time — not to mention preferring to spend our time in the ideas and eventual making of the things that the *design playground* is about…

As we continue to grow, more and more professional publishers are flocking to Tumblr to share their voice. This means that Jacob and Peter have had the pleasure of designing blogs for everyone from rockstars, to action movies, to the President of the United States.
It’s no secret that you guys are awesomely talented, and there are a lot more of you than are of us. So we’re opening these projects up to you with something new called Tumblr Projects.
Our goal is to connect professional studios, brands, and publishers, looking to create something great, with brilliant designers and developers who can help them do it.
We’re super excited to open these previously behind-the-scenes projects up to the community that continues to inspire everything we do. We can’t wait to work with you!
